For more years than I care to remember, tenants and landlords have been in opposite trenches despite having overlapping interests. If we agree that the majority of landlords and tenants are good, why has it been so difficult to find common ground?

Due to this inability, we now have government proposing legislation to further regulate the industry. I suppose we only have ourselves to blame. Or should we blame the minority bad tenants and landlords?
